Experience shifts that show up in how you feel, not just in what you know.
Welcome to Resilient Roots Psychology
Therapy for adults who are ready to rewrite their stories, break patterns, and build a life they're genuinely excited to live. Support in person at our practice based in Lane Cove Sydney and online Australia wide.
Resilience. Growth. Hope.
Resilient Roots Psychology was created with a simple belief: your history doesn’t have to define your future.
We all come from families, cultures, and experiences we never chose—but like a daisy pushing through the cracks in the harshest concrete of trauma or adversity, we can choose the direction we take from here.
My work is about helping people rewrite their stories, break patterns that have weighed them down, and build a life they're genuinely excited to live.
Meet your psychologist.
Hi, I’m Mitra (pronounced Mee-Tra).
I’m a psychologist who works with adults ready to break old patterns and genuinely feel different in their lives.
Many of my clients grew up in complex or emotionally tricky families, or they’re stepping into therapy for the first time because they’re tired of repeating the same cycles. Some of my clients have tried therapy before and still feel stuck, like they're pushing against unyielding concrete. Others are coming in simply knowing they can't keep doing things the same way.
Wherever you're starting, my approach is supportive, honest, andfocused on understanding what's happening beneath your patterns so real change can take root—like a daisy emerging through the cracks, blooming with quiet strength.
If you're a cycle-breaker in your family or someone who wants life to feel lighter, clearer, and more at peace within yourself — you're in the right place.
Take a look around and see if my approach resonates with what you are after.

Wanting to like themselves more
Improving communication, boundaries, and connection
The focus is on helping you feel clearer, more grounded, and more confident in yourself and your relationships.
